Providing IT consultancy services to:

  • Orange Telecommunications, Copenhagen, Denmark.

    Development of a search engine for an Internet site using Perl, Javascript, XML, DTD, XSLT, MySQL and Unix. The search engine development involved research, user requirements capture, design, development and implementation.

  • 2 Organize.com, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

    Development, maintenance and deployment of Internet sites for Sun Microsystems (implemented for eleven national languages) and Adobe Systems Inc. Technologies used were Perl, CGI, HTML and Linux.

  • National Lottery Charities Board, London, UK.

    Development of an Internet site. Tasks included Unix system administration, user requirements definition and research into making the web site accessible to as many browsers as possible (using the W3C guidelines). Technologies used included Javascript, Perl, Apache, CGI, Postgres, MySQL, Solaris, Linux and SWISH-E (Search Engine software).

  • Sony Music Europe, London, UK.

    Enhancement of an Internet based European Management Information System for Music Artists. Technologies used included PHP, Javascript, MySQL and Unix Solaris.

  • Wansbeck Council, Northumberland, UK

    Design, development and implementation of an Intranet system. Implementation included the installation of Linux, Web Server (Apache) and integrating the search engine software. Functional specifications and user guides were written. The system enabled data storing and access to all the committee meeting minutes recorded for council projects.
